Iris Serrano is a Valencian painter, photographer, illustrator and muralist whose work is born from a single conviction: art as a tool, not as decoration. A loudspeaker, a home, a vehicle and a lifeline. Working primarily in watercolour, inks and acrylics, she builds a body of work where women and nature are the connecting thread — and where the personal is always political.
Her practice has taken her to Palestine, Chiapas, the Sahara and refugee camps, driven by the belief that art can generate real transformation in marginalised communities. She has painted large-scale murals across Valencia, decorated the maternity wards of the Hospital General Universitario de València free of charge, and organised art festivals in spaces where stigmatised communities are separated by invisible borders.
For the collector, Iris Serrano offers something increasingly rare: uncompromising authenticity. Her work does not chase trends — it is born from deep conviction and sustained by a refined technique. To collect Iris Serrano is to invest in a genuinely original voice with institutional presence and a visual narrative that transcends geographical and cultural borders.
