‘I remember that as a kid in primary school I always liked red & black combination. It’s something that can be seen in many different contexts from the fashion to poster art, flag design, also within anarchism in color combinations etc..
It’s strange to use the same color combination after so many years, because there are times when I thinking it’s awful, but nowadays I simply don’t see it from any old point of view. I even don’t think about all of that when I am creating art.
The title is obviously connected to the narrative inside the drawing. Some characters are old and borrowed from previous works and some are new and there are some new moments that I didn’t use before on ink drawings. The floral frame is actually the physical part of the drawing this time. And now I love how the red works with the rest of the artwork in greyscale.
I have once again given a very long title which is actually very elaborate and helps with understanding of the artwork.’
