Naomi Knaff (b. Montreal, Canada) is a toy designer and ceramic artist based just outside Bilbao. After studying Film and Video at the London College of Communications, she settled in Toronto and worked in the toy industry — including several years as a freelance designer for Spin Master — as well as in fabrication, props and merchandise production. That hands-on experience now feeds her own practice: a self-produced line of art toys and ceramics built around the idea that personal history can be carried through objects. She has exhibited internationally, with a solo exhibition at Sofubi Art Toy Gallery (Mexico City), group shows in Barcelona, Tokyo, New York, Atlanta and Le Plan-de-la-Tour (France), and a talk at Pictoplasma in Barcelona.
To collect Palm Boy is to own a unique 2026 ceramic piece, signed by the artist on the bottom, from a creator who has carried years inside the toy industry into self-produced art toys and ceramics. Her work sits at the crossroads of collectible design and fine art, built from lived experience rather than trend — which gives it a narrative depth that mass-produced art toys rarely reach.
