Lisa Gingles works across drawing, collage and sculpture, giving form to animal and hybrid figures drawn from mythology, folklore, travel and memory, constructing a territory where the human and the fantastical coexist.
Death Card takes its title from the Tarot card of the same name, rendered in pencil on found paper as part of Gingles’ works on paper.
