Sara Herranz is an illustrator and visual artist based in Madrid whose work has become one of the most recognizable voices in contemporary Spanish illustration. Through a language that combines emotional intimacy, vulnerability, and strength, she explores human relationships, desire, identity, and the complexities of contemporary womanhood.
Her debut book, Todo lo que nunca te dije lo guardo aquí (2015), became a major commercial success, establishing her as a defining figure within a new generation of illustrators. To date, her publications have sold more than 35,000 copies. Alongside her personal practice, she has collaborated internationally with publishers such as Alfaguara, Random House, and Ullstein Buchverlage, and with brands including Vogue, Chanel, Gucci, and Samsung.
