RX is an Italian artist, craftsman and designer whose work is born from an urgent and irrepressible need for expression. Self-taught by conviction, he found his first language in the graphic novel before expanding into sculpture, painting and digital drawing — a trajectory that does not describe linear evolution but the exploration of a single impulse through different materials and formats.
Since 2018, his research has focused on uncovering the dark side of the human — and animal — mind through references to global pop culture icons. His conceptual proposition revolves around what he calls POP-PARADOX: the exploration of the post-graffiti trend through the parody of a parody. Childlike figures, consumer symbols and collective references are decontextualised and reassembled into surreal, grotesque and at times unsettling scenarios — a visual theatre where nothing is as it seems.
For the collector, RX offers an uncommon proposition: work with a solid conceptual foundation and a consolidated international presence across markets as distinct as Asia, America and Europe. His deliberately physical pieces function as a visual antidote in a world saturated with digital images. A name with a proven global track record that still has much ground to conquer.
