Penrider – Born 1980 in Madrid, Spain. Based in Madrid.

Trained in illustration and comics at ESDIP, Madrid, Penrider developed his graphite technique largely through self-directed practice, building one of the most distinctive drawing voices in contemporary pop surrealism. His work constructs mysterious, dreamlike atmospheres through precise strokes and delicate gradients — each piece a fragment of an open narrative the viewer must complete.

Multiple solo shows at Haven Gallery (New York), including Suspense and a 2024 solo presentation. International group exhibitions across Europe and the United States. Featured in The Art Newspaper and e-flux. Represented by Blacklight Art Gallery, Valencia.
