Originally from Paris, Bruno studied Fine Arts before relocating to Cardiff, UK. His artistic journey has always been deeply influenced by his love for images and animals. These subjects constantly occupy his mind, and they play a central role in the fantastic universes he creates.

Breaking the Boundaries of Reality

In his art, Pontiroli dismantles physical norms and embraces unnatural postures. His work reflects the disorienting world we live in, turning it upside down. He explores the bizarre and absurd, where humans and animals exist in surreal ways—centaurs behead half-human, half-horse creatures, men embrace massive walruses, and giraffes and camels defy the logic of their forms. Even a hippopotamus stands poised on the artist’s tongue.
