Susana Ragel (b. 1981, Spain)
An award-winning, museum-collected painter with significant institutional recognition. Ragel’s career is distinguished by major prizes (Rafael Botí Foundation First Prize, Complutense Foundation Award) and acquisition by leading museums including the European Museum of Modern Art (MEAM) and the Infanta Elena Museum of Contemporary Art.
Her work holds international and diplomatic prominence. In 2023, she was selected for a landmark solo exhibition in Beijing, supported by the Cervantes Institute, commemorating 50 years of Spain-China relations. That same year, one of her works was inducted into the Complutense University’s permanent artistic heritage and exhibited alongside masterpieces by Goya, Fortuny, and Sorolla. She has also exhibited alongside Antonio López in major binational exhibitions.
