Nuria Torres is a Barcelona-based sculptor with an exceptional technical background, trained at Escola Llotja and further shaped through collaborations and learning alongside national and international sculptors. She has worked with artists such as Antoni Miralda, and her work has been selected and awarded in major international ceramic and sculpture biennials.
Her sculptures are held in important public collections including the Gyeonggi Ceramic Museum (South Korea), the Ariana Museum (Geneva), the Museu del Disseny (Barcelona), the Aveiro Museum (Portugal), and MACVAC (Spain). Working with marble, porcelain, and stoneware, Torres brings classical figurative sculpture into the present through subtle contemporary details and everyday objects elevated into timeless, highly collectible works.
